"Why would it be between THAT or Muhammad?"
That's probably the most famous line from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's 2007 cult classic comedy, but there's plenty more to McLove.
Introducing the movie world to both Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Emma Stone, Seth Rogan bowed out of playing Superbad's title character in favor of Jonah Hill, instead placing himself alongside Bill Hader to create the most chaotic police pairing ever seen on screen.
Rogan and Goldberg wrote the movie's script as teenagers, loosely basing the ridiculous plot on their own high school conquests and giving the two lead characters their own first names.
Produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Greg Mottola, Superbad is firmly one of its era's greatest comedies.

Director Greg Mottola
Shooting in high definition, Mottola often let the camera run for hours in between takes, capturing genuine candid moments and improvisation.

Judd Apatow
It was Apatow's idea to make friendship and going to different colleges a main theme of the movie.

Because Mintz-Plasse was 17 at time of filming, his mother was required to be on set at all times, including during his intimate scenes. He claims they've never spoken about it since.
