30-year-old Edi Okoro from the U.K. bought an engagement ring for his girlfriend, Cally Read, but wasn't sure how to actually pop the question.

He says that traditional ideas like flash mobs, marry me signs, etc. weren't really his style - "I'm a spontaneous improviser."

He also knew that planning the proposal around any major event/holiday would almost certainly arouse Cally's suspicions and spoil the surprise.

Instead, Edi decided to "take as many photos, in more daring scenarios, until I found the perfect moment to propose, or until I got caught, at which point I would propose."

Eventually, it seems Cally either finally turned around and saw it, or Edi decided enough was enough and popped the question - to which she said yes! Here's wishing the happy couple many, many beautiful years together!
