Idiot 'Accidentally Proposed' to His GF in Home Depot, Now He Can't Back Out: 'We were laughing, until she said yes'
How could this backfire?

Good rule of thumb: Don't "pretend" to ask your girlfriend to marry you unless you both know it's a joke. Even then, don't.
If we are to believe what this Reddit user is telling us (unlikely), then this guy has dug himself a hole he might have to sleep in the rest of his life. Reddit user WallInternational103 recently posted a story on TIFU about how he "jokingly" proposed to his GF in Home Depot, only she didn't think it was a joke, and now all their friends know, and "everyone in their life thinks they're engaged." Oh gee, I wonder why dude!
People in the comments rightfully told him to call it off if he's actually having second thoughts, "you owe it to her," one user said. But it would be funny if they lived a long and happy life.
One thing he definitely shouldn't do is post about it online if he isn't sure he wants to go through with it.... oh wait, too late.
