1974 was a year too good to be true. It had the best of both worlds, the optimist and carefree energy of the '60s and the challenges and cultural shifts of the '70s. It represented a perfect moment for creativity to thrive.
Rock bands peaked at their all-time high, people wore bell-bottoms to school, and the world was collectively adjusting to its new modernity. Reinvention filled the air and the streets.
It was a year of wonder, where the past and future met halfway. Life wasn’t perfect, but people definitely knew how to make the most of it, and we love to remember it whenever we can.
