Reportedly the statue was erected and removed this morning, before local news station arrived on scene, but residents of Albuquerque were able to get photos beforehand.

According to KOAT 7, Action News, a statue of Jeffrey Epstein appeared outside of Albuquerque's City Hall on Wednesday morning. Photos of the bronze statue, which doesn't really look like Epstein at all, was removed this morning before local new stations could arrive on scene.

At the statue's base was this plaque. And at the bottom a note from the generous donors, the Antlion Entertainment "Art" Collective. Not sure why "art" is in quotes. Mystery solved.
