A large part of growing up (and life in general) are the lessons you learn along the way. No one is born with all the knowledge they need to be safe, successful, and happy, it's those experiences and things that happen to us that teach us valuable information to help us make our own lives better.
If one thing is for certain when it comes to learning something, It's better late than never.
