Onstage Accidents That Almost Ended Huge Rockstars

Thank god for rock.

We want rock and roll to just be about the music, but the reality is that it's not. It’s about fire, sweat, chaos, and the kind of unpredictable energy that makes live shows unforgettable.

But when the amps are cranked to eleven and the stage is packed with lights, smoke, and crazy antics, things can go spectacularly wrong. The stage is an amazing place for both epic performances and jaw-dropping accidents, where rockstars learned the hard way that the spotlight can be as dangerous as it is dazzling.

Some mishaps ended in bruises, others in flames, and a few nearly changed music history forever. These icons almost didn’t live to tell the tale. Here’s a look at the wildest moments when the stage fought back, and almost won.
