When we talk about comedy, there’s a lot of people who will instantly quote and think of Monty Python, the quirky and absurd troupe who fused satire, and nonsense into something that turned out to be pure chaos, but also intellectual humor.
In 1969, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin came together to mix their talents and make Monty Python’s Flying Circus and various films, which were forever carved in the hearts of generations to come.
What makes them so iconic and memorable isn’t just the fact of how funny they could be, but also the spirit of anarchy and mischief they had to them. They broke the rules and then built new ones, all of that while acting incredibly silly in the smartest of ways.
