I remember reading these childrens books when i was in grade school, some of the stories were scary but I mostly remember them for their creepy drawings by Stephen Gammel, these books by Alvin Schwartz even managed to make it on to the banned books list of 2000-2009, way after i got to read theses as a wee one.Enjoy.
