After this guy's landlord refused to fix several broken windows on the property that had been that way before they moved in and the landlord simply threatened them with eviction if they layered up (illegal to do, btw), he was forced to take legal action. What the landlord may not have realized is that this particular tenant also worked at a local payroll and compliance firm that just so happened to handle his company's accounts.

Well, it wasn't long before the tenant had all the dirt he needed to teach this bully landlord a very, very costly lesson. In the end, the landlord probably paid close to $750,000 in fines, legal fees, and repairs to the house. Oh, and he lost his job too.
