Chamoy Thipyaso. The record for the world’s longest prison sentence is held by Thai national Chamoy Thipyaso. This is one record you’d rather not have as Thipyaso was sentenced to 141,078 years for her role in a pyramid scheme. Thipyaso defrauded 16,231 people out of more than $2,800,000. It actually doesn’t seem like that much though because when you divide that between the people who were defrauded it only amounts to about $175 each.

Allan Wayne McLaurin. It appears that McLaurin won’t be getting out any time soon. He was sentenced to 2,000 years on each of his four counts of rape, the same sentence on four counts of forced sodomy, 1,750 years for kidnapping, 1,500 years for assault with a deadly weapon and 500 years on two counts of robbery and separate single counts of robbery and larceny which brings us to an incredible sentence of 21,250 years.
