Jussie Smollett is the 36-year-old actor who is best known for his roles in Empire, The Mighty Ducks and On Our Own. Smollett was charged with 16 felonies after falsely reporting that he was attacked around 2 a.m. at a Subway Sandwiches restaurant in Downtown Chicago on January 29th. He claimed that he was attacked by two masked men who shouted racist and anti-gay slurs, but it turns out he had hired the two attackers and paid them $3,500.
