This trolling joke has been around for years, but only now has it finally pranked the audience that created it in the first place.

'Clovergender' is a fake gender identity created a few years ago and meant to troll left wing people who support the LGBTQ community. A clovergender is a person who says they're a younger or older person trapped inside their current body.

After someone created a fake symbol for identifying clovergenders and claimed that clovergenders were actually just pedophiles, a bunch of people believed that was real and started writing death threats to any and all clovergenders.

Only there are no clovergenders, so the death threats are going nowhere.

Now a joke meant to troll left wingers itching to embrace any new sexual identity ended up tricking right wingers into thinking pedophiles had registered as a legitimate gender category.

This is what happens when you forget to read the fine print.
