A lot of people incorrectly believe that they were “gifted” as a child, just because they got placed into an advanced math program. The truth of the matter is, some people just learn at different paces — and if you learned a little faster, or even just a little differently, they would place you into a class that made you feel special in that subject.

*Real* gifted kids weren’t just the ones who read books in their free time or learned algebra faster than their fellow students. *Real* gifted kids are like this 13-year-old, who designed and 3D-printed an incredible indoor beehive.
