A DoorDash Driver Accidentally Ended Up On the Chicago O’Hare Runway
And no one is sure how it happened.

We’ve all gotten used to having the ability to order food from pretty much every restaurant to basically wherever you want. Sure, this isn’t the *best* system for those involved — drivers make slave wages, the apps take money off the top from restaurants, and when you get the food, it’s more often than not cold. I know, it’s great!
Plus, having a bunch of non-professional drivers on the road who have to deliver a shit ton of orders in order to make money can lead to some of these drivers making stupid and dangerous decisions/accidents.
Case in point: This recent incident at Chicago’s O’Hare airport, where, despite numerous security procedures in place to prevent such a thing from happening, a driver was able to enter a secured area and drive around. Thankfully, it looks like they’re not pressing charges against him. But if people can do this, maybe we lighten up on the whole “liquids and gels” thing in the security line, huh?
