It’s fair to say that entertainment these days is pretty different from the stuff our parents used to watch. Back in the day, you could only see a movie by going to the cinema; now, we put a movie on in the background while scrolling social media on our phones, then telling our friends it was “fine.” Isn’t that so much better?

One of the ways that media has changed is that many people enjoy live-streaming content. Often, this involves watching someone play video games while they make commentary. Sometimes, however, it apparently involves just watching a man fill a bathtub with a spoon — for 34 hours.

“What a waste of time this was,” said streamer Erobb221 at the end of his journey, which saw him sitting tiredly next to a bathtub. Yup, could have told you that before you started!
