A Sinkhole Opened in Bangkok and Ate Police Cars and An Entire Road
The collapse was allegedly triggered by construction on a subway tunnel underneath the road.

On September 24th, an entire road collapsed in Bangkok, Thailand. As you might imagine, this screwed up basically everything: cars fell in, water pipes were destroyed and utilities in the area were shut down.
Somehow, no one was injured during this whole thing. Still, the results are pretty insane — a massive hole about 160 feet deep. Plus, given how chaotic weather has been in the region recently, crews are now being tasked to work on the site ‘round the clock in order to prevent it from getting worse due to heavy rains.
Now, photos and videos of the event are being shared across the internet, and the imagery is pretty shocking. Thank goodness everyone was alright!
