This is the first footage of this amazing creature displaying it's mouth/jaw extension. This gulper eel (Eurypharynx pelecanoides) was observed in the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument. This gulper eel was a juvenile, but adults can grow up to 3 feet long.
