Yesterday, TMZ obtained photos of a distraught Alec Baldwin assessing the damage to his wife’s white Range Rover after crashing it into a tree. The incident took place in East Hampton, New York, when Baldwin and his brother Stephen were on their way to the Hamptons Film Festival.

Baldwin later addressed the crash in a video on Instagram, saying, "I crushed my wife's car and I feel bad about that.” According to him, the two were cut off by a garbage truck.

He assured concerned fans that he and his brother were both fine and ended the video with a shoutout to his wife, the not-Spanish though often Spanish-sounding, Hilaria, sweetly saying, "Hilaria, I love you more than anything and I’m very proud of you."

But what he didn’t say is, “Sorry for crashing your car.”
