Another Cop Passed Out After Pretending to OD on Fentanyl
That’s not how that works.

The police love to talk about how scary and deadly fentanyl is. For drug users, this is true — if you get a bad batch with a hot spot of fent mixed into it, there’s a chance that you could unexpectedly overdose.
However, for the cops simply looking at and touching the drug, there is basically no chance that such an event will happen. That doesn’t stop them from pretending, though!
Recently, we had yet another incident of a police officer touching what they believed to be fentanyl, losing their mind, pretending to have an overdose, then needing to be sprayed with Narcan before they felt better.
Obviously, that’s not how any of that works, but sometimes, cops just need to do this to get their jollies. Hey, it’s better than arresting a random innocent person!
