Another Person Got Arrested for Trying to Open the Emergency Exit Mid-Flight

Enough of this!

If things continue like this, getting a flight ticket will come with mandatory self-defense training. I say this because people keep doing stupid things mid-flight — trying to throw hands with the attendants, attempting to barge into the cockpit or just locking themselves in the bathroom to vape. Seriously, how did we forget how to behave on planes?

The most recent entrant into the great canon of 10,000-foot insanity is thanks to a man in the United Kingdom. According to the New York Post, he was so drunk (again, he’s British) that he attempted to open an exit while the plane was in the air.

This caused the flight to make an emergency landing. Once the plane landed, police escorted the man off by pulling him by his ear — not really sure if that follows protocol, but I’m certainly not going to complain. The man was apparently so out of it after landing that he couldn’t be spoken to for several hours, only talking to the cops once the effects of his drinking wore off.

For the last time — save the beverages until after you land!
