Arizona Dust Storm Shuts Down Literally Everything
Batten down the hatches!

Yesterday, Arizona was hit by a major dust storm, otherwise known as a “Haboob.” Video of the haboob captured the giant wall of dust rolling into Phoenix, shutting down sports stadiums, the airport and coating anything and everything in layers of dirt and sand.
However, despite being a total inconvenience for everyone under the wall of dust, the pictures and videos of the storm are pretty jaw-dropping. The haboob caused power outages and some minor damage to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. According to one mother who spoke to The Guardian and who was caught on the road during the haboob, it “really, really scared my kids.”
The dust has since settled. For a brief moment, though, the residents of Arizona caught a glimpse of what the end times look like.
