Hospitals in Queensland, Australia have issued a public warning after several people were admitted with symptoms consistent with ingesting rat poison.
The hospitals aren’t saying where the patients ordered from, but there seems to be a consensus that the one detail tying these people together is that they ordered takeaway food, likely from the same location.
However, because they can’t be certain, and they don’t want to put an innocent restaurant on blast, they’re just putting out a blanket notice that you should be careful if you order delivery, and that you should make sure your food doesn’t contain rat poison.
