If you’re really, really far ahead in a race, it can be tempting to do a little showboating. You know, wave to the crowd, pull a few faces, flex your muscles — it’s unsportsmanlike, but what are they going to do about it? You’re the best!

That said, there are some downsides to doing this. For example, as the biker in the video below learned, showboating can throw off your balance — and ruin the race not only for you, but for the guy right behind you as well.
