Every boat owner will tell you that a boat is, at the end of the day, a terrible investment. While it’s fun to kill a bunch of beers and drive around in circles in a pond, boats require a ton of maintenance, and when it comes time to sell the damn thing, you’re lucky if you make even the slightest return on your investment.

Not helping matters is that boats seem to encourage people to be on their worst behavior. Take, for example, Robert, who decided to ruin the boat trip by hanging onto a bridge rather than ducking under it.
