Last year, people on the internet lost their minds about the largely-fictitious “raw-dogging flights” trend. This was a thing on TikTok where people said that they did nothing during a flight besides stare at the seat in front of them — a claim that a bunch of people apparently just bought without questioning it. Do people do this? I’m sure a few do, yes. But do the people posting on TikTok about this do it? Well, they’re literally filming a TikTok in order to tell you that, so I’m just going to say that they’re lying!

But the rise of this “trend” does speak to one universal truth: Flights are boring. Even if you’re lucky enough to be in a seat where the headphone jack works like it’s supposed to, you’re usually left with a paltry selection of movies that pause whenever the captain decides to hop on the intercom and tell you about the weather for no reason.

This passenger was so bored that they decided to hack into their in-flight entertainment system. Turns out it was easier than they thought!
