Years after being locked in their houses, some people still haven’t figured out the whole “webcam” thing.

During a recent meeting of the Glasgow City Council, member Hanif Raja made a simple mistake: he forgot to turn off his camera.

Normally, that wouldn’t be a big deal — except the meeting was being live-streamed, and Raja used a break period to go to the bathroom.

“Before we start, Bailie Raja, are you aware that your camera is live?” a fellow council member asked, prompting Raja to quickly turn off his camera.

The meeting has now been removed from the local authority’s website. As for Raja, he says that he was sorry and simply didn’t realize that the camera was on.

“I'm diabetic. I need to go to the toilet every hour or so,” he explained in part. “That was the reason.”

Hey, man, we don’t have an issue with you using the toilet — we just don’t want to see it!
