This Police Officer showed incredible restraint by retreating over a block & a half when a suspect, wanted for attacking someone with a machete earlier that day, was coming towards him with a 4' chain. After an unsuccessful taser deployment, the officer was forced to use his firearm. The man later succumbed to his injuries.
