Country Showdown! Zach Bryan Climbed a Fence at a Music Festival to 1v1 Gavin Adcock
Move over, rap beef — we’ve got country beef now!

Country artists Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock aren’t the biggest fans of each other. This appears to stem from an incident in July in which a 14-year-old fan posted a TikTok saying he had waited until 4 a.m. outside Bryan’s MetLife Stadium show, only to have Bryan drive away without acknowledging him. The fan jokingly called Bryan out, which led Bryan to respond, “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello.”
Seeing this, Adcock wrote, “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old, why do people idolize you?”
This response apparently set Bryan off so much that he hopped a fence to confront him at the Born & Raised Festival in Oklahoma.
According to PennLive, Bryan was performing at the festival and reportedly spent the day asking where Adcock was, flipping people off and antagonizing other artists’ guests. Nearly 30 year-old-man, by the way.
Before Adcock’s scheduled set, Bryan pulled up in a truck, shouting threats. When Adcock didn’t respond, Bryan punched a barbed-wire fence, then climbed over it, yelling “Fight like a man! Come open the gate!”
Adcock refused to take part, later explaining that he didn’t want to miss his set, that he didn’t want to risk any legal ramifications for brawling with Bryan and that he felt the whole thing just felt stupid.
After reading about all this, I can’t help but agree.
