Cracker Barrel Also Changed the Interior of Their Restaurants
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Cracker Barrel is the latest brand to undergo a modern makeover, and Cracker Barrel loyalists absolutely hate it. Yesterday, the empty suits behind everyone’s favorite country kitchen revealed their updated logo, which no longer features the namesake “Cracker” and “Barrel” we’re all so familiar with, opting for a slimmed-down look that has Americans up in arms.
But a couple of months before Cracker Barrel changed its logo, it changed its interior from a homey destination overflowing with odd tchotchkes and table games to something that looks like the inside of a bank.
The new minimalist aesthetic is cold and lifeless. What used to feel like going to lunch at your grandma’s house now feels like every other fast-casual restaurant. The walls are too neat and tidy, the tables are made of laminate, not real wood and the country store looks more like Whole Foods than your average general store.
Talk about not leaving a good taste in customers’ mouths.
