A sports photojournalist has to do a delicate dance in order to get a good photo. You have to get close enough to the action to capture it well, yet still be far enough away where you don’t risk interfering with the action.

Some photographers do this well. Others, like this man, throw caution to the wind and walk right onto the race track, causing both chaos and injury.
