Diaper-Wearing Monkey Seen Swinging from the Rafters of a Spirit Halloween

Arlene Pinkston of Plano, Texas, was shopping for her daughter’s Halloween costume when she came across a rather strange sight: a monkey in a diaper swinging from the rafters of her local Spirit Halloween. Like any decent member of society, she pulled out her phone and started recording.

According to local news outlets, the diaper-wearing monkey was out shopping with its owner when it was “spooked by one of the store’s animatronics [sic].” Police were eventually called to capture the diapered terror, but not before Pinkston recorded one of the best videos of the year.

After a long standoff involving a cookie used as bait, the monkey finally returned to its owner.
