Some good samaritans come to the rescue after witnessing a dog howling in distress and an injured puppy on the ground in front of her. The pup had a laceration on this "shoulder" and couldn't even stand up due to the pain. These folks take the pup, clean him up and treat his wounds before reuniting him with his mother.
