A man has been praised a hero and an “Aussie legend” for helping police arrest a man. The man was casually walking his dog in Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast when the 40-year-old offender police had been chasing started running towards him. Officers were patrolling the area when they noticed a stolen white Toyota Hilux ute parked on Lakevi
