On 3/20/2019 In a statement on Facebook Des Moines police officers responded to assist DMFD with a structure fire at an apartment complex. Officers arrived to find that heavy smoke was preventing their access to the 3rd floor. three children were thrown from the third floor and caught by police officers down below no one was harmed in the fire.
