Every country has special interest groups advocating for representation in government. Usually, however, there’s one problem: All these special interest groups are paid off by major corporations. Where’s the group for the people?
To find an answer, we need to look to Ghana, where a group calling themselves the “Ghana Drunkards Association” is holding press conferences in order to pressure the government (and whoever else will listen, really) to lower the price of booze.

The Ghana Drunkards Association has issued a three-week ultimatum to the government to reduce the prices of alcoholic beverages in the country, citing the recent appreciation of the cedi against the dollar and other major currencies.
