If someone at a party says “Watch this,” you know that person is about to experience a life-altering injury. That, or they’re about to embarrass themselves more than anyone ever has before — both events totally worth watching!


In this case, it was somebody trying to do a flip into a pool (while wearing socks, for some reason). Things go south pretty soon after it starts.

In the U.S., our infrastructure is, well, let’s just say it could be better. The roads in most cities are absolutely terrible, and if we can get through a month without a bridge collapse, it’s pretty lucky.


Sometimes, issues like these arise simply due to age and poor maintenance. Other times, extreme weather conditions cause problems. For example, a recent heatwave in Missouri caused a road to suddenly buckle — and send a car flying.
