The thing about moving snow is, if you see it coming, there’s a good chance that there’s about to be a hell of a lot more of it.

In most cases, this only really applies on mountains with significant snowfall, as the beginnings of a snow slide could easily become an avalanche. However, there are other cases where this might be relevant — for example, if you see a little bit of snow sliding off of a roof, you might want to consider getting the hell out of the way. Otherwise, you could find yourself like this man.
