Sometimes, police officers need to chase their suspects. Usually, the manner in which they chase them matches the suspect themselves; for example, a suspect fleeing in a car would be chased by a police cruiser, while someone running would be chased by a cop in a full sprint (sometimes).

In this case, a man was fleeing from the cops on an e-scooter, and the police decided to go after him with a car. This, it seems, was the wrong decision, as it resulted in one of the most embarrassing cat-and-mouse police chases we’ve seen in a while.
