Dude Screams and Does a Flip on Local News to Promote Avant-Garde Music Festival
They’re calling it “perhaps the shortest performance in history.”

How do you advertise avant garde music? Given that it’s something that isn’t exactly, you know, pleasant, you’d think that most advertising for these events would involve xeroxed flyers and word-of-mouth via anyone with a septum piercing.
However, the Avant Garde a Clue II Festival in Rochester decided on a different approach: going on local news. In an incredible sub-20 second performance, musician Industry Standard walked on set, screamed into a microphone, did a full flip, accidentally unplugged his equipment, then stopped — leading to a single “Wow!” from a newscaster.
Honestly, this was amazing. Pad the floors and have this man host the weather — I’d watch every day!
Promoting the Avant Garde a Clue 2 music festival in Rochester, Industry Standard delivered perhaps the shortest performance in the history of Good Day and ARC Rochester.
