Most Americans live incredibly comfortable lives. And yet, this doesn’t stop them from feeling terrified.

Despite living in conditions that anyone living even 50 years ago would consider fit for a king, the average suburbanite in this country lives in a constant state of paranoia. What if someone breaks into my house? What if I’m “jumped” and don’t have my gun? What if someone kidnaps my child?!?! I know they’re 25 and don’t talk to me anymore, but still!

Consequently, many Americans invest in home security systems, firearms and, for a particular kind of paranoiac, self-defense. Unfortunately for the latter, much of this training is more likely to make a criminal die of embarrassment rather than any actual strike, as the video below shows.
