When a celebrity finds success across generations, people of each age group are going to know them for different things. For example, your parents probably knew Rick Astley as “that guy with the deep voice,” where you mostly know him as the guy you get angry about seeing whenever you click a link to “spicy celebrity pics.”

Now, Eminem is the latest celeb to fall victim to this. Despite having critically acclaimed albums, a history of controversy and a lyrical talent that even his most ardent haters can appreciate, Eminem recently made an appearance where he was addressed as “That Guy from Fortnite” — referencing his various collaborations with the popular game.

Hey, at least it wasn’t “the Bored Ape Guy.”
