If you use a taxi service abroad, there’s a strong chance you’re going to get scammed. I don’t know what it is about taxi drivers, but they love to try to pull one over on unsuspecting passengers, with some of the more unscrupulous drivers even rigging their meters to make the passengers believe they’re getting a fair rate.

You can react to this a few different ways. You can just pay the amount, you can try to fight it or you can completely crash out and smash every window of the taxi that you can get your hands on.
