Twitch streamer Fandy gave birth to her first child yesterday in front of an audience of thousands live on Twitch. That audience even included Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, who shared a comment in Fandy’s chat, saying, “Fandy, best of luck and congratulations. Wishing you the best in this journey."

The stream lasted a total of eight hours and attracted more than 50,000 viewers during its peak. While the birth was the highest-viewed birth in Twitch’s history, it isn’t the first birth to be streamed on the platform or online, for that matter.

When Feny’s water broke, she posted on X, “Hi Twitter, my water just broke, so I think I’m going [sic] live. Baby time :).”

Congrats, Fany and welcome to the world, Luna – your life is going to be very weird!
