Has this “brotherly love” thing always been sarcastic?

Philadelphia is a shithole, but it’s *our* shithole. It’s simultaneously a very fun place to be, with plenty to see and compassionate people ready to share a drink with you, and one of the most insane, messed-up places in the country — a true embodiment of the American id.

These Canadian hockey fans came to Philly for a game and made the mistake of celebrating their team. As a result, they got punched.
