Most major Western cities are now filled with electric bikes and scooters that you can rent with your phone. No training required: Just download the app, unlock the vehicle and you’re ready to terrorize the neighborhood by almost running people over on the sidewalk!

However, seeing the way some people behave on these vehicles, maybe they *should* come with training. At the very least, a little more know-how can prevent situations like this:
