A lot of crazy things can happen in a police chase. If someone is insane enough to think they can successfully drive away from the police and their helicopters, they likely don’t have the best decision-making skills, and as a result, they end up engaging in some pretty wild behavior.

For example, this guy in Ohio was being chased by the cops while in his pickup truck when he realized that the wood he was carrying was the perfect weapon. And so, he began to deploy it.
