To this day, people are amazed by the fact that ancient Egyptians built the Pyramids. Yes, there were plenty of other ancient societies who built incredible structures, but something about the Great Pyramids is just endlessly captivating. How did they build these things? More importantly, why?

While we have a vague idea of the latter (monuments/tombs for pharaohs), the former is still a bit of a mystery. That doesn’t mean that people don’t have theories, however. Here’s one good guess about how the ancient people did it — and no, it didn’t involve any little green men:
