Hotel Workers in Jamaica Are Getting Really Sick of Guests Complaining About the Hurricane
In case you couldn’t tell, *no one* wants to be part of this hurricane!

If you haven’t been following the news, Hurricane Melissa recently made its way through Jamaica, leaving incalculable devastation in its wake.
Of course, with a Category 5 hurricane hitting the island, many normal services — such as flights — were disrupted. Many people were understanding about this. Some tourists, however, did not.
Online, platforms like X and TikTok are flooded with videos and stories of people being obnoxious to hotel workers on the island. Some are complaining about the limited breakfast options in a hurricane, while others are questioning why they’re required to pay full price even though there’s a natural disaster going on — as if the hotel had some role in summoning the hurricane in the first place.
Unfortunately, it’s just a fact of life: If you go somewhere in hurricane season, you might have to deal with a hurricane!
