Apparently, Howard Stern isn’t retiring after all, and he’s not too happy about it.

After weeks of speculation over Stern’s future with SiriusXM, the talk-show host pranked his audience this morning, as fans of his show were greeted by Andy Cohen who said he’d be replacing Stern and rebranding the channel as “Andy 100.”

Stern, who then came on the show 10 minutes later and announced it was a hoax, criticized all the media outlets that fell for the stunt. In those 10 minutes, however, stock for SiriusXM fell a total of two percent.

Stern spent a fair amount of time this morning addressing the rumors of his leaving while squashing other rumors that he had been beefing with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, saying, “I don’t know Alex Cooper. If she is young and bubbly, then God bless her because I’m the opposite.”

Long-time Stern listeners should be happy with the news, but there is one person who isn’t: Stern himself. He got pretty candid this morning, explaining, “What pisses me off is now I can’t leave. I’ve been thinking about retiring. Now I can’t.”
